BUILDING YOUR TEAM

Every successful Real Estate Investment business has a team. The team manages the water because the CEO makes it rain! As a CEO and entrepreneur you should recruit a team that has different but complimentary skillsets.

ASSET MANAGER
VIRTUAL ASSISTANT(S)
SOCIAL MEDIA
PROMOTERS
EVENT MANAGER
ATTORNEY (Real Estate and Securities are different!)
CPA or CFO
AGENT/BROKER
INVESTOR RELATIONS
PRIVATE MONEY BROKER (PRIVATE MONEY AUTHORITY INC.)

If you are doing Rehabs you may need a Project Manager or General Contractor as well as an Architect or Design Professional.

Your acquisition and asset managers have different skillsets. They should not be the same person.

Your social media and promoters can and should be the same person or people. They need to understand how to run ads on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and more. They also need to understand how to develop funnels and landing pages to solicit investors in accordance with federal and state laws.

As I posted your Attorneys are going to likely be different as a Real Estate Attorney is far different than a Securities Attorney. They likely do not have the knowledge or experience in dealing with the Securities and Exchange Commission as well as state Blue Sky Laws. If you are not seeking to use POM (Other People's Money) than you probably don't need a securities lawyer.

Your Investor Relations Manager should be a sales person AND a closer. They need to be able to take incoming calls and make outgoing calls to fund managers, accredited managers and more.

Your event manager should be the person that schedules and manages your Meetups, outside events and more. You should host 1-2 events yourself a month. Not a full scale summit but basic meetups and strategy sessions.
